Beyond negotiating contracts, BMEB Sports Management, Inc. provides a variety of specialized services for coaches and athletes in order to maximize their earning potential and opportunities.
NCAA Rules Compliance: Making sure that coaches are in good standing with the NCAA may be the most important service that we provide. Though the University has counsel to help defend the coach, many times the University may be looking out for its own interests. For this reason, we offer independent representation to ensure that the individual’s interests are being protected.
Setting up Personal Corporations: When a coach has many forms of income, setting up a personal corporation offers a way to consolidate that income and potentially provide tax advantages. In addition, a coach can corner the market on merchandising.
Legal Services: Any legal services that are beyond the scope of the coach’s employment are offered at a discounted rate.
Internet Sites: Internet sites have come under a bit of fire as of late. However, they are still the best way for a fan to keep up with the inner workings of their favorite college football teams - straight from the source that matters most: the head coach. This can also be used as a vehicle to sell the coach’s merchandise.
Endorsement Deals: As a coach gains a foothold in the community, local endorsement deals are another source of income. As they become nationally known, larger deals become an option. Individual representation for endorsement deals is imperative.
Business Contracts: After reaching a certain level of coaching, business opportunities arise for coaches from people looking to cash in on the coach's name. We can negotiate deals to make sure that our coaches receive maximum compensation.
TV/Radio Appearances: The more exposure a coach has, the more opportunities come his way. We work diligently to get clients into local and national TV & radio shows to give them better exposure.
Our Overall Objective: We help coaches reach their goals by finding out where they want to go in their careers and helping them get there. By marketing coaches nationwide and helping evaluate opportunities, we make sure their careers are maximized.
